Copyright Policy
Journal of Current Research and Studies (JCR) is committed to protecting the rights of both the authors and the journal. The following copyright guidelines apply to all works submitted for publication:
1. Copyright Ownership
Upon acceptance of a manuscript for publication, authors retain the copyright to their work, but they grant the Journal of Current Research and Studies the following rights:
- Exclusive License to Publish: The journal has the exclusive right to publish, distribute, and reproduce the work in any format, including print and digital, globally.

- Sharing: Others can copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Adaptation: Others can remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
However, proper credit must always be given to the original authors and source of the work, along with a link to the license, and an indication if changes were made.
3. Author Rights
Authors retain the following rights after their work is published:
- Reproduce or reuse their work: Authors can use their articles for personal use, institutional purposes, or for sharing with colleagues.
- Distribute the work: Authors can share their work on personal websites, institutional repositories, or scholarly networks, provided a proper citation of the original publication in JCR is included.
- Adapt or extend their work: Authors can create derivative works or use the content for teaching, conference presentations, or future research, as long as the original publication is acknowledged.
4. Third-Party Material
If the manuscript contains any third-party material (e.g., figures, tables, images) that is not the authors' own, authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions to reproduce these materials. Proper attribution to the original source must be provided in the manuscript.
5. Self-Archiving Policy
Authors are allowed to self-archive the following versions of their article:
- Preprint: The version of the manuscript before peer review can be posted on preprint servers or personal websites at any time.
- Postprint: The accepted manuscript version (after peer review and revision but before final journal formatting) may be self-archived in institutional repositories or on personal websites, provided the journal is credited as the original source.
- Published Version: Authors can share the final, published version of their article (as it appears in the journal) on their personal websites, repositories, or scholarly sharing platforms, with proper citation.
6. Plagiarism and Copyright Infringement
The journal takes all instances of copyright infringement and plagiarism seriously. All manuscripts are checked for originality using plagiarism detection tools, and any detected infringement will be addressed according to the journal's plagiarism policy.
7. Open Access Policy
JCR is an open access journal. This means that all articles published in the journal are freely accessible to the public immediately upon publication. The journal does not charge readers or institutions for access to its articles, and authors are required to pay an article processing charge (APC) to cover the cost of publication.
